Dr. Jeff Edwards, DPT

Before the total knee replacement of my right knee and before my physical therapy after surgery, it had become difficult for me to live my life to the fullest and difficult to do my every day activities.  Six weeks post-op and I am doing things that had become so difficult to do.  I can now walk to the mailbox and back without pain.  I am able to go through the entire grocery store without being in awful pain.  I am able to stand in line, when needed, without being in pain and having to shift from leg to leg to try and alleviate it.  I feel I have my life back!

Rehab total knee replacement (Right). Within 1-2 weeks postop, went from a walker to a cane to no support.  Knee slowly limbered up and gained strength.  Within 2-8 weeks, significant progress every week with both flexibility and strength.  PT was a critical part of recovery.  Scale of 1-10 started at a 0 and am now at a 7.5.  Management of facility is excellent and the staff is superb!!  Staff listened and adapted PT to my needs.  The staff is very responsive yet aggressive in rehab.  I realize that I still have a ways to go for complete recovery.  I will come back on an as-needed basis.
